My name is Vincent Muli Kituku and I was born and raised in Kangundo, Kenya. My Ph.D. is in Range Management. That means the marketing tips I share with small and medium business owners are tried and true! They are not from a summer camp either.
Since I started working with businesses I have observed what entrepreneurs have seen in numerous studies. That, five out of ten businesses fail within twelve months from the day they were started. Further, of the surviving businesses, nine out of ten businesses do not live to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
The astonishing thing is that businesses do not fail because they lack money. What I have learned and now share with entrepreneurs who want prosperity for their businesses, is that marketing creativity is the capital small to medium businesses need to thrive in any economy. I believe that knowledge and basic execution of profitable marketing strategies (with zero or minimum budget) not only creates awareness, but also builds a presence that relegates competition to a non-issue status.
The traditional advice is to think out of the box when it comes to marketing. But what if you don’t know the box? Or you don’t have one? What if you have a box that has brought you nothing but money lost in marketing or frustration from lack of money to market your products and/or services? I know that the starting point would be to identity and know your box and throw it out if it’s not adding to your bottom line and/or bringing the experience of personal fulfillment.
Developing the mindset and strategies of marketing with a zero or minimum budget is a difficult task for most people to comprehend. However, with unpredictable economic climate, uncertainty in competition, people are searching for answers on how to better market their products/services.
What if you have the best products or services, but no one knows
about them? What if you have limited or no capital for advertising
your business? What if you want your business to remain profitable
in any economy? Lack of marketing is the most effective way to go
out of business. Creative marketing is the key to growing your
business. This workshop will provide participants with practical
steps on marketing with zero or a minimal budget.
